  • To ensure that all attendees are fully aware of the relevant legislation and how to ensure that this is applied practically in their workplace.
  • All attendees will be able to promote and provide safety leadership their working areas.
  • Understand their duties and responsibilities as well as the various duty holders detailed in the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 and Safety, Health and Welfare at Work at Work (General Application Regulations) 2007.
  • Be able to complete and appraise key documents such as Risk Assessments.
  • Be able to apply active monitoring such as safety auditing and checks as well as reactive monitoring such as incident and accident investigations.
